The name's Gary. Here's a little background info about my experience and how it has molded me into the perfect caretaker for your beloved canine companion(s).
I've personally owned two dogs total. One in my teenage years and one in my adult life presently. Both of the American Pit bull Terrier breed. I've walked numerous dogs at once (6max). I ensure proper walking etiquette when outside. I am in tune with dogs' natural body language and can handle accordingly with each dogs' unique personalities.
Over the years, my patience has grown to a zen-like state when around excited or disobedient dogs. I love a good challenge and canine work definitely delivers. I am very familiar with the special requests canine parents demand because my last job had trained me thoroughly in paying close attention to detail.
Safety is my number one concern especially with someone else's dog. I have a certain protocol when passing by other dogs, crossing streets, picking "street treats" up, and redirecting dogs' attention. I also made specially designed safety collars that have never failed whenever the dog slipped out of it's regular apparatus.
My experience with fearful/aggressive dogs are also plentiful because when my last employer had new special clients, I was sent to evaluate and build trust with these special cases.
Hi! I'm Claudia. Corporate warrior with over 5 years experience in finance and talent management industries. Years of human resource management and corporate communications have led me to discovering my true passion, working with canines!
I have had large breed dogs for the majority of my life; Including three golden retrievers, one mix breed retriever, and one husky. I have several experiences with puppy litters, training dogs from infancy, and rehabilitating adoptive dogs. Over the years my personal encounters with dogs have allowed me to better understand the inner workings of canines, and what truly motivates them.
I guess you could say our match truly was made in heaven. Meeting Gary allowed me to fully engage with my own pack in ways I had never done before. His natural leadership drew our dogs together and made us the stable pack we are today. With our calm and assertive attitude, we have made it our mission to help all dogs and dog owners in fulfilling each others' lives!
Meet the Pack! (From left to right) Lily (Golden Retriever), Wendy-Brooke (Pitbull). and Rorschach [aka 'Rory'] (Siberian Husky). Our balanced pack facilitates rehabilitation for dogs in need. Each member of the pack poses crucial strengths when introducing new dogs to unfamiliar environments.
Lily is the oldest of the group, at 10 years of age as of 2018. Her calm demeanor and matured energy allows for uncertain dogs to feel more at ease in the presence of an unfamiliar presence. Wendy-Brooke is the most assertive and well-trained in obedience cases. She has a willingness to please and responds very well to commands (not to mention she can do some pretty cool tricks!). Rory is unphased by aggressive dogs and never responds with aggression. He has an excellent ability to bring out some of the biggest insecurities in dogs so that we may properly address them.
They love meeting new dogs and their dog owners, and will always welcome any newcomers into the pack for fun times all around!
